It features low voltage protection to prevent battery drain. The kit works with almost all car mini & micro USB devices, such as dash cams, mirror cams, GPS navigators, and radar detectors, and can be installed in minutes with little to no expertise required.

This hardwire kit comes with a 11.5ft/3.5m power cable. If your dash cam uses a USB-C plug, please reach out to us, as our factory also offers a mini USB female to USB-C male cable to solve connector mismatch issues.

The technical details are as follows: Mini USB connector, input voltage of DC 12V-24V, output voltage of 5V, output current of 2A, working temperature range of -40~ 160°F, and low voltage protection at 11.6V for 12V vehicles and 23.5V for 24V vehicles.

The main function of the low voltage protection is provided by a set of 6 high-precision resistors and a dual power-off protection chip. This intelligent low-voltage protection device can accurately read the battery voltage and automatically turn off power when the voltage drops below 11.7V or 11.6V, effectively protecting your car battery.

The vehicle hard-wired kit, connected to the car battery or fuse box, can continuously supply power to the dash cam for 24 hours, even when the car is turned off, enabling uninterrupted parking surveillance. A free fuse puller is also included for easy use.
